Most of the new homes going up in Auranga and Drury West need the same sequence of plumbing work, and we cover each stage so the builder only needs one plumber on site. That means pipework and drainage in before the linings go on, then a return visit to fit off the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry once the fixtures are in. If something isn't right after handover, like a shower with weak pressure or a cylinder that won't hold temperature, we'll sort it while the home is still under the builder's warranty.
The homes around Great South Road and the original township were built long before Auranga or Drury West, and the pipework under the floors and behind the walls is much older. Blocked drains and slow leaks are the two jobs we're called to most here. We send a CCTV camera down the line first, so you know whether it's roots, a crack or a collapsed section before we quote, then clear it with a hydro jetter and avoid digging wherever we can. Slow leaks get tracked down with leak detection gear instead of opening up walls to guess. We're based in Karaka, so a Drury callout is a short drive.
Drury South Industrial Precinct sits on SH1 between the Drury and Ramarama interchanges, and its warehouse and distribution tenants put heavy demand on plumbing. Truck wash bays and large staff amenity blocks use a lot of water, and backflow prevention matters more on these sites than on a standard commercial job.
